MacDonald and Massoudi Named All-CIF in Girls Volleyball

The two Tartan standouts led St. Margaret's to a Division III Semi-Final appearance.
Sarah MacDonald and Ella Massoudi have been named Div. III All-CIF as voted on by the CIF Girls Volleyball Coaches Selection Committee for the efforts in the 2025 season.

Libero Sarah MacDonald was the Tartans' top server with 77 aces and a 95% efficiency with an ace-to-error ratio of 3.5 to 1. She had 479 total serves, well above the team average. She also led St. Margaret's in digs with 3.7 per set. MacDonald's versatility was critical as she stepped in for an injured setter for four matches. However, her most important contributions to the team were in her team leadership and floor "generalship" - providing invaluable communication, encouragement, and coaching.

Outside Hitter Ella Massoudi helped drive the Tartans' playoff run after an injury spell. Despite missing 10 matches, Massoudi was St. Margaret's overall kill leader with 328. On the season, she averaged 4.75 kills per set but ramped up to an even higher level in the playoffs, averaging 5.15 kills per set, and accounted for 42% of the team's postseason overall kills. Her outside hitting, along with her all-around game (3rd in both digs and blocks), was a key to the Tartans' playoff success.

Congratulations, Sarah and Ella!
