Middle School Tartan Jam provided a lively showcase of student talent, creativity, and enthusiasm, offering both seasoned performers and first-time participants a welcoming stage.
Last week, the Middle School Tartan Jam provided a lively showcase of student talent, creativity, and enthusiasm, offering both seasoned performers and first-time participants a welcoming stage at the McGregor Theater.

Tartan Jam is designed as a relaxed, informal environment where students can experiment with their ideas and share performances in front of a supportive audience. The event emphasizes fun, community, and the joy of live performance, encouraging students to explore and grow in a positive setting.

“It’s really about creating a space where students feel safe and inspired to share what they love,” said Chris Carbajal, band director.

The Middle School lineup featured a wide range of performances, including:

  • Joyce He – Chopin Fantasie Impromptu

  • Adelyn Haskins – A Thousand Miles by Vanessa Carlton

  • Valentina Scotti – Skyfall by Adele

  • Luisa Whitledge, Alana Morasch & Leyana Boldt – Arcade by Duncan Lawrence

  • Anna Chu – Just the Two of Us by Grover Washington Jr.

  • Ricky Hill – Heaven by Bryan Adams

  • Sophia Consoletti – Traitor by Olivia Rodrigo

  • Ella Chin – In The Stars by Benson Boone

  • Natalie Benson – Golden Hour

  • Nadia Uribe – Tek It (Ukulele and Singing)
