Tartan Cross Country Program Has Strong Showing at 44th Woodbridge Classic

St. Margaret's faced tough competition at the renowned event.
St. Margaret's cross country teams competed at the Woodbridge Classic at the Orange County Great Park this past weekend and produced impressive results. The Woodbridge Classic is widely regarded as the largest and fastest cross country invitational in the nation, attracting the best in the high school running world.
 
Heidi Beshk led the girls squad, finishing ninth with a time of 18:19.6. Beshk was followed by Joyce Li (19:16.6) and Megan Mohler (20:04.4). Overall, the girls placed fourth as a team.
 
On the boys side, Zach Causee (15:12.6) led the Tartans to a third-place team finish. Samarth Wadhwa (15:21.3) and Malcolm Capelle (15:30.5) helped set the pace for St. Margaret's while Zaiden Gurusamy (15:43.0) and Benjamin Harrison (15:58.5) joined St. Margaret's sub-16-minute finishers.
