Preschool-Grade 8 Camps
Summer at St. Margaret’s camp programs are open for all, not just St. Margaret’s students. St. Margaret’s expert professional community designed creative camp opportunities that expand beyond traditional school-year subjects.

This year had a variety of fun educating activities that proved to be big hits:

Early School Camps: Offered on a weekly basis, these camps keep the youngest Tartans engaged in play-based learning and discovery throughout the Early School campus.

SeaQuest, Pirate and Mermaid Adventures: A new addition to the lineup, this imaginative camp for students in grades K–2 quickly became a standout.

Dino Detectives: Designed for grades K–2, this camp led by Kylie Middlebrook, Middle School director of community life, and Erin Moore introduced students to paleontology through hands-on exploration and creative discovery.

Inspirit AI: A two-week program in partnership with Inspirit AI, this new offering for students in grades 6–8 provided an introduction to artificial intelligence and its real-world applications.

Have a Ball: This dual offering included Tiny Tartan Sports Camp and Tiny Tartan Cheerleading Camp, giving younger students a fun and energetic introduction to athletics.

The Stock Market Game (TSMG) Camp: Led by Upper School history and social science teacher Danny Solarz, this camp introduced students to the fundamentals of investing and market strategy.

Shoe Design Camp: David Beshk, Lower School science teacher and Upper School student Brayden Brisbois, guided students in grades 3–6 through the process of designing and color-dipping their own custom shoes, blending creativity with hands-on craftsmanship.

Nature Navigators, Trails and Tales: Led by Chelsea Shoemate, Lower School science teacher, this camp combined outdoor exploration with literacy development, encouraging students to engage with the natural world while building language arts skills by exploring the local flora and fauna and deepening their language arts skills.

Piano Playground: Directed by Linling Hsu, orchestra teacher, this introductory camp offered young students a playful and structured entry into piano and keyboard basics, enhanced by musical games and creative activities.

Dance Camp: Returning by popular demand, this camp for students in grades 1–5 was led by Kirsten Harvey, director of dance, and focused on movement, rhythm, and self-expression through choreography.

In addition to new and returning camps, Summer at St. Margaret’s welcomed back several community favorites, including Innovation Stage, directed by Zach Hanna and the performing arts faculty. Many of these programs are expected to return for Summer 2026 as the school continues to expand its offerings.
