St. Margaret's Girls Lacrosse Cleans Up Oilers 20-12

The Tartans improve to 4-2 on the year.
The Tartan girls lacrosse program picked up their fourth win of the season, downing Huntington Beach High School 20-12 Thursday evening on Tartan Field.
 
McKenzie Farley had a night, tallying 9 goals, 3 assists and 6 ground balls for the Tartans. Scarlett Welsome followed closely with 5 goals and an assist to keep the Tartans well ahead of the Oilers. Grace Burke (2g, 2a), Greta Blau (2g), Elise Peffer (1g) and Audrey Weiss (1g) all supported the win.
 
"We were able to establish a big lead in the 1st quarter and continued to build on that through the end of the game," said head coach Megan Armes. "Really pleased about how we performed tonight."
 
The Tartans will next face Edison High School on Saturday, March 16.
