Tartan Swimming Finds Mid-Season Form Against Sage Hill

St. Margaret's swim team faced off against Sage Hill in a league meet and came away with impressive results.
Nicole Chen had a big day for the Tartans, winning the 50 free and 100 backstroke, and earning swimmer of the meet for the girls open division. Audrey Miazga qualified for CIF automatic cut in the 50 free and won the 100 back, with a CIF consideration time. Rounding out the individual girls results, Claire Martin won the 100 breast and qualified for CIF consideration, earning swimmer of the meet for the girls varsity division, while Annika Tufo qualified for CIF consideration times in the 50 and 100 free.
Both girls' varsity relays, featuring Audrey Miazga, Claire Martin, Chloe Liu, and Annika Tufo, earned CIF cuts in the 200 medley relay and the 200 free relay.
On the boys' side, the varsity team raced hard, led by Captains Ross Johnson and Bryan Wu. Bryan Wu won swimmer of the meet for men's varsity, qualifying for CIF consideration in the 100 backstroke.
On a high note, every single member of the team scored points in the dual meet and improved their times in at least one event.
The Tartans will return to competition on April 15 against University.
