Center for Technology and Innovation

The Center for Technology and Innovation

St. Margaret’s Center for Technology and Innovation (CTI) is a planned space where students, educators, industry leaders and community partners will converge.

CTI is a dynamic hub designed to ignite innovation and empower students for lives of learning, leadership, and service. It will serve as a mission-driven catalyst for authentic, real-world problem-solving, and allow students to exercise agency through bold, interdisciplinary thinking.

The Center will include an expanded Robotics and Engineering Lab, an Innovation Hub where students can leverage immersive technologies such as AI to prototype solutions and transform ideas into human-centered innovations, as well as classrooms in engineering, math and computer science.

CTI will function as:

List of 3 items.

  • A Training Ground for AI:

Where students learn the fundamentals of emerging technologies in a hands-on, supportive environment.
  • A Sandbox for Experimentation:

A space to build, prototype and innovate without fear of failure, encouraging creative risk-taking.
  • A Command Center for Student Digital Leadership:

The operational hub for student-led tech initiatives on campus, from peer training to new-tool pilots.
Rooted in St. Margaret’s Episcopal tradition, the Center pairs technical fluency with the ethical discernment required to champion human dignity. Through these collaborations, students bridge the gap between classroom discovery and the challenges of tomorrow. This space ensures graduates are equipped not merely to navigate systems, but to create lead and improve them with the integrity and purpose central to a St. Margaret’s education.
