PTF Spring Grants Enhance Student Learning, Support School Initiatives

The grants were announced at the final PTF General Membership Meeting of the year this week.
The Parent Teacher Fellowship of St. Margaret’s Episcopal School announced its 2026 PTF Spring Grants this week—a lasting investment in the school and its students. The grants were announced at the final PTF General Membership Meeting of the year this week.
 
PTF Grants are funded through annual PTF events and programming, including the Forever Plaid All-School Fundraiser, the Library Luncheon, the Book Fair, the Online Auction and more.
 
The spring grants include the continuation of standing grants, restricted grants, a capital campaign gift, and general grants.
 
In total, the PTF awarded more than $1.3 million in grants, including a $1 million gift to the Tartans Thrive capital campaign as part of a three-year pledge that concludes this year.
 
The general grants, requested by St. Margaret’s professional community, fund resources and tools to enrich the learning of the student body. More than 25 general grants were awarded across all divisions, including:
 
  • Funding the PTF Parent Up Speaker Series for 2026-2027.
  • Educational materials and storage to support learning at La Novia Farm.
  • A LEGO education computer and AI kits for learning coding and AI literacy.
  • Cutting-edge video equipment for cinematic arts students.
  • Lower School Outdoor Classroom upgrades, including a small greenhouse.
 
There was also standing grants which support student learning, including teacher classroom funds, grants funding Lower School Core Council, Middle School ASB and Upper School ASB, donations to Special Camp and Breakthrough SJC, and more.
