Tartans Battle Oxford to 10-8 Win in Girls Tennis

St. Margaret's closes out the regular season on the right foot.
St. Margaret's girls' tennis finished its regular season with a non-league 10-8 road win over Oxford Academy on Monday afternoon.
 
Anna Farias won all three of her singles sets to give the Tartans a boost in the final game of the season. The doubles match-up of Emily Kim and Ellie Pooler won all of their sets while Aviva Wang came back from 4-0 down in her singles set to eek out a 7-5 victory for the Tartans.
 
The win pushes the Tartans to 10-10 on the year and opens up a potential at-large playoff bid. St. Margaret's will next compete at the Pacific Coast League Individual Tournament Oct. 29-30 at Saddleback College.
