The Tartans drew challenging opponents in the opening round.
The Tartan boys and girls lacrosse programs are poised to begin the CIF-SS postseason this week and look to make deep runs toward a championship.

The 13-6 Tartans will face 13-3 San Clemente on the road in the first round of the CIF-SS Ford Div. I Girls Lacrosse Championship on Monday, May 1 at 6 p.m.

St. Margaret's closed out the regular season with convincing wins against Newbury Park (W 16-12) and Corona del Mar (W 19-16). The Tartans will look to lean on midfielder Lauren Lam who averages 3.9 goals per game with 70 goals and 29 assists on the year and Minka Martinez who has scored 46 goals and tallied 29 assists. Goaltender Kaitlin McRae will look to preserve her 11.8 goals against average moving forward.

The Tartans led 7-1 at the half before the Sea Kings notched five unanswered goals as the third quarter came to a close. However, the Tartans answered quickly in the fourth and held off a furious Palos Verdes attack to seal the win.
