Three Tartan Golfers Qualify for CIF-SS Southern Regional
Jessica Liu, Nicole Wang and Annie Weng will represent St. Margaret's.
St. Margaret's girls' golf program competed in the Pacific Coast League Finals on Thursday at Costa Mesa Country Club and came away with impressive results.
Competing against a field of some of the strongest school-age golfers in Southern California, the Tartans quickly got to work on the course. Jessica Liu (139, -3) extended her phenomenal run of nine straight under-par match results, finishing tied for first place with golfers from University and Northwood. Liu has turned in the lowest score in six of the last seven league contests she has participated in.
Supporting St. Margaret's exceptional results were Annie Weng (146, +4, 8th place) and Nicole Wang (154, +11, 11th place). Both will join Liu at the CIF-SS Southern Regional Individual Tournament at Los Serranos South on Wednesday, Oct. 29.
