Tartans Hold on To Fell Northwood in 5

St. Margaret's prevailed in a tight league matchup Wendesday.
St. Margaret's boys volleyball continued to roll through league opponents, downing Northwood High 3-2 (25-16, 34-36, 27-29, 25-19, 25-8) in a tightly contested league tilt in Pasternack Field House on Wednesday evening.

The Tartans leaped out to a quick start, but not before the Timberwolves clawed back to pick up wins in the following two sets. St. Margaret's re-established its block and attack in the last two sets and finished strong for the win.

Beckett Harvey led the attack with 25 kills, followed closely by Miles Eaton with 22. Both hit efficiently at .452 and .419, respectively. Collectively, the duo accounted for 55% of the Tartans' total attacks and 70% of the team's kills.

Harvey also led the defensive effort with 5 blocks and 13 digs, a team high, with Botty O'Kane matching Harvey's 13 digs in the win.

Ry O Hill added an additional 16 kills from the outside position.

The Tartans (8-0 in league) will take on league foe University High on the road Thursday, March 26. St. Margaret's took the first meeting with the Trojans 3-1.
