St. Margaret's swimming program had a great day in the pool at the CIF. Div. III Prelims held at the Marguerite Aquatic Center on Thursday.
Zoe Reynolds swam to a 10th place finish (2:16.06) in the 200 IM while Heidi Tufo swam personal best times in her events: finishing 19th in the 100 fly, just missing the school record with a time of 1:02.25, and finishing 20th in the 200 IM in a time of 2:19.32.
Zoe Reynolds, Heidi Tufo, Lucy Young and Julia Olosky swam to another school record in the 200 free relay, besting their result in league competition last week by a second and a half with a 1:45.93. The girls also dropped three seconds from their 400 free relay, finishing with a time of 3:55.84.
Reynolds, Tufo, Young and Olosky will attempt to improve on their results at the CIF-SS Finals on May 7 at Marguerite Aquatics Complex in Mission Viejo at 2 p.m.
