Photos: Welcome Back Coffee Begins Year of PTF Events and Community-Building

Welcome Back Coffee is a tradition at the beginning of the school year, a social gathering with hot coffee and catered breakfast but also a chance for parents to learn more about volunteer opportunities for PTF events.
Sillers Hall was packed with St. Margaret’s parents who reconnected with friends, met new families and explored different volunteer opportunities within the Parent Teacher Fellowship this year during the annual PTF Welcome Back Coffee.

Welcome Back Coffee is a tradition at the beginning of the school year, a social gathering with hot coffee and catered breakfast but also a chance for parents to volunteer for and learn more about several events throughout the year. That includes the cherished all-school spring fundraiser with this year’s theme of “Forever Plaid: Mountainside,” and the Library Luncheon with this year’s theme of “Printed Page to Silver Screen.”

Parents were also able to interact with school leaders including Head of School Will Moseley, PTF President Jill Golubow, Assistant Head of School for Strategic Initiatives Ryan Dahlem, who answered questions about the new school schedule, and the advancement team, who shared volunteer opportunities and sign-up information for the upcoming Tartan Tee-Off.

If you were unable to make the event, there are still volunteer opportunities available in a wide variety of PTF events throughout the year, including:
  • Hot Lunch
  • Boosters
  • Arts Alliance
  • Tartan Angels
  • Book Fair
  • Tree Lighting Ceremony
  • Faculty/Staff Holiday Luncheon
  • Coffee House Cabaret
  • Division-Specific Activities
If you would like to support the PTF and its initiatives, please contact the PTF office at 949.661.0108, ext. 1351, or fill out the volunteer form at www.smes.org/ptfvolunteer.

The PTF would like to thank Welcome Back Coffee chair Cristin Gianulias and all the volunteers and attendees for making the event a great success!
