St. Margaret’s Proudly Partners With San Juan Capistrano for 2018 Summer Nites Concert Series

St. Margaret’s has been a supporter of the city's free concert series since the event’s inception in 2003
The 2018 San Juan Summer Nites concert series kicked off the 2018 season this week at Historic Town Center Park, with St. Margaret’s once again a proud sponsor.

St. Margaret’s has been a supporter of the free concert series since the event’s inception in 2003. As the 2018 series kicked off Wednesday, the city recognized the partnership and support of the event as city leaders, including mayor Sergio Farias and city councilmembers Kerry Ferguson and Pam Patterson, presented Head of School Will Moseley with a plaque of appreciation.

St. Margaret’s sponsorship of the series helps the city fund the free concert, which features live music, a local business expo, food and beverage booths and free activities for kids including a bounce house and face painting, with attendees picnicking and dancing the night away.

With many members of the St. Margaret’s community in attendance, Wednesday’s show in front of a large crowd featured a performance by Soutry, which played a variety of music ranging from Motown to funk to contemporary pop and R&B.

The San Juan Summer Nites concert series will also have concerts on July 18, August 15 and September 19.
