Will Moseley Speaks on Panel in Support of Arts Education

Mr. Moseley spoke of how the arts promote a growth mindset among students and can foster creativity that positively impacts other areas of their lives.
St. Margaret’s Head of School Will Moseley participated in an arts education panel last week at the Casa Romantica Cultural Center and Gardens in San Clemente, sharing his expertise and insight on the benefits of the arts in schools.

The panel, led by Casa Romantica Executive Director Berenika Schmitz, was an opportunity for educators like Mr. Moseley to share their experiences and insight on how the arts help students succeed — both in school and beyond.

Mr. Moseley was joined by educators from Orange County, Los Angeles County and New York City in discussing arts education and its importance for the overall student experience.

Mr. Moseley has been in education for more than 30 years, and is a longtime champion of the arts. He spoke of how the arts promote a growth mindset among students and can foster creativity that positively impacts other areas of their lives.

“Creativity is the engine that powers change and innovation and growth,” Mr. Moseley told the audience. “At St. Margaret’s, we provide opportunities for our students to explore new territory, and the arts is one example.”
