St. Margaret's Assistant Soccer Coach Shines in Pair of Men's National Beach Soccer Team Highlights

Tartan soccer assistant coach Oscar Reyes notched a goal for the U.S. Men's National Beach Soccer team against Trinidad & Tobago on February 23.
Oscar Reyes, an assistant on the St. Margaret's varsity boys soccer team, had a productive turn for the U.S. Men's National Beach Soccer team at the 2017 CONCACAF Beach Soccer Championship in Nassau, Bahamas Feb. 24 - 26. Reyes scored a blistering midfield goal against Trinidad and Tobago in the Americans' 5-1 victory.



Reyes also featured in an amazing highlight, narrowly missing on a bicycle kick in the 7-2 win against Antigua & Barbuda on Feb. 22.

 
The CONCACAF Beach Soccer Championship serves as the regional qualifying tournament for the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup, which takes place April 27 - May 7 in the Bahamas. The U.S. team finished 1st in its group but was defeated 6-4 by Panama in the knockout stage.
