Winter Sports Enter CIF-SS Playoffs This Week

The Tartans will have home games in boys basketball and boys and girls soccer. Wrestling will travel to Rialto on Friday, February 17.
The CIF-Southern Section winter playoffs begin this week for St. Margaret’s with three home games, while the wrestling team will travel to Carter High School in Rialto on Friday.

Girls Soccer

The Tartans enter the playoffs with a 19-1-3 record and ranked No. 9 in Division III. St. Margaret's will take on Granite Hills on Thursday, February 16 at 5 p.m. on Tartan Field. The Tartans’ Blake Crawley is currently tied for second on OCVarsity’s leaderboard with 24 goals.

Boys Soccer

The 17-2-1 Tartans will face Lennox Academy at home Friday, February 17 at 5 p.m. St. Margaret’s finished first in the Academy League with a 9-0-1 record.

Boys Basketball

The Division IV-A No. 4 Tartans will tip off against Loma Linda Academy in the Pasternack Field House on Wednesday, February 15 at 7 p.m. The 18-6 Tartans are led by senior Tyler Horgan, who has 1,010 career points after a 22-point effort against Sage Hill last week.

Wrestling

Seniors Joel Holsinger and Colby Rogers will represent St. Margaret's at the CIF-SS Individual Divisional, February 17-18 at Carter High School in Rialto.
