Zoe Reynolds is CIF Champion, Tartans Finish 5th at Div. III Championships

St. Margaret's swimmers cap a historic season.
St. Margaret's girls swimming & diving program swam to a 5th place finish at the CIF-SS Div. III Finals last week at Mt. San Antonio College.

Zoe Reynolds became St. Margaret's 31st Individual CIF Champion with a blistering 59.05 finish in the 100-yard Butterfly event. Her performance set Reynolds as the school record holder in the butterfly and the Individual Medley, where she finished second at 2:10.52.

Heidi Tufo was a finalist in the 100 fly and 200 freestyle events and teamed up with Reynolds, Annika Tufo, and Caitlin Rooney for a second-place finish and a new school record time (1:43.73) in the 200-yard Freestyle event. Friday's results, combined with the earlier finishes of the diving squad comprised of Lily Djavaherian and Clara Mota, cemented one of the highest-ever CIF postseason finishes for the program.
