Baseball
The Tartans took down Calvary Chapel Santa Ana 4-1 in Orange Coast League action Tuesday afternoon.
Charley Gianulias pitched a complete game giving up 5 hits, 0 walks and 1 run while striking out 8 to pick up the win. On the offensive end, Brennan Sullivan produced another big game with 2 hits and 2 RBI, including a clutch squeeze bunt in the 4th that netted the Tartans 2 runs.
St. Margaret's (5-4) will face CC Santa Ana again on Thursday at 3 p.m. at JSerra Catholic School.
Boys Golf
St. Margaret's clinched its 8th straight win Tuesday, defeating Costa Mesa 208-270 under beautiful conditions at San Juan Hills Golf Course.
Team Captain Mike He shot a stellar 38 (+2) to pace the Tartans, with Brandon Yang (39, +3) and Charlie Eifrig (42, +6) following closely behind.
The 10-0 in league competition Tartans take on Orange High School on Thursday at River View Golf Course in Santa Ana.
Boys Tennis
The Tartans bested the Costa Mesa Mustangs 18-0 Tuesday to improve to 7-0 in league.
Alex Fluman and Kasra Haghighat had a great day on the court, winning all three of their sets. Davin Grover, Dillan Grover and Dawson Mai came out on top in their sets.
The Tartans will next play Trabuco Hills on Thursday at Saddleback College at 2:30 p.m.
