Tartan Track & Field Shines Against Orange High

St. Margaret's picked up wins for the girls and boys squads last week.
The St. Margaret’s track & field program notched two big wins on March 21 against Orange High School. Both the 4x100 relays started the meet off on the right foot, with each team picking up a win in their event. A huge performance led by Ben Nonna helped the Tartans take a sizeable lead against Orange High. Nonna would go on to win in the 100m, the long jump, and the triple jump, posting career-best marks. Ryan Shiekholeslami would also get a win in the 400m, posting a season-best time. St. Margaret's boys finished the meet with an 83-44 win over the Panthers.
 
A strong performance from Addie West would also help the girls track & field team get a big win. West won the 4x100 and the 100m, followed by two second place finishes in the high jump and long jump. Ava Klausner would also take 1st in the High Jump, with Elie Shook winning in the 400m. A win from Catherine Pappas in the 3200m sealed the deal for the Tartans' victory. The girls ended with an impressive 91-33 score for the meet.
 
The Tartans return to action on Thursday, March 28 against Estancia High School at Saddleback College.
