St. Margaret's Takes Two League Victories This Week

The Tartan varsity golf squad looked sharp this week in its two blowout league victories. On Tuesday afternoon, St. Margaret's defeated Katella at Anaheim Hills Golf Course. Led by freshman powerhouse Charlie Eifrig who shot a 38 (+3), St. Margarets won 195-302. Charlie Eifrig led the Tartans again on Thursday afternoon, this time with a spectacular 32 (-4). Thursday's 181-326 victory over Westminster was the best team round on the season yet with two Tartans (Mike He and Charlie) shooting under par and one (Brandon Yang) shooting even. With a 181 team score, the entire team was only a single stroke over par. With the two victories, the Tartans moved to 5-2 on the season and 4-0 in league play.
