St. Margaret's girls basketball program advanced in the CIF-SS Div. 5AA playoffs with a 60-47 win over visiting Immaculate Heart High School on Wednesday night. With the win, the Tartans continue their quest for the school's first CIF championship in girls basketball.

"Our team is excited about the opportunity to go to the semis for the first time in school history, but not satisfied until we reach out ultimate goal."

The Tartans will travel to take on South Hills High School in the quarterfinal round of the Div. 5AA playoffs. Tip-off is set for Saturday, Feb. 18, at 7 p.m.
