WATCH: Upper School Students Complete Yearlong Singing of Alma Mater
The students sang one or two words of the alma mater’s chorus each week during Convocation, with the last line of the song completed on Zoom.
Upper School students completed a singing of the alma mater that spanned the entire year. Led by Associated Student Body president Thomas Hughes, the students sang one or two words of the alma mater’s chorus each week during Convocation, with the last line of the song completed during remote Convo sessions on Zoom.
“Each week, Thomas and the ASB leaders took time to shoot a little bit of this video during Convo, and the entire Upper School loved taking part in this display of Tartan spirit,” Upper School Director of Community Life Lora Allison said. “The end result, even as the last few lines had to be done remotely, was fantastic! It was so great to see this project come to fruition, and be something that students looked forward to participating in each week when we gathered for Convocation.”
