Tartan Boys Basketball Opens Season With Win

St. Margaret's defeated Workman High 65-46 Wednesday evening.
St. Margaret's boys basketball program opened the 2019-2020 campaign with a solid 65-46 victory over visiting Workman High School (1-1) on Wednesday night. The win marks new head coach Chris Nordstrom's first win at St. Margaret's.

The Tartans battled back after conceding 16 points in the first quarter to take a 28-24 lead into halftime. St. Margaret's held the Lobos to nine points in the third and never looked back. Anthony Constantino led the Tartans with 15 points while Will Kenner and Charlie Wohlgemuth netted 10 each. Ryan Anthony was a stellar 9-for-10 from the foul line.

The Tartans return to the court on Saturday, Nov. 23, facing Pacifica High on the road.
