Champions! Middle School Girls Volleyball Brings Home the Crown in Thrilling Finals Win

The Tartans downed St. John the Baptist 2-0 in the P.A.L. Championship.
St. Margaret's Middle School girls volleyball program capped an incredible undefeated run, defeating St. John the Baptist 2-0 in the Parochial Athletic League Championship on Wednesday.

The girls finished league play with an unblemished 10-0 record, setting the stage for a postseason run. Throughout the season, the team showed resilience, determination, and teamwork as they battled through close matches and stepped into unfamiliar positions when needed. Two exciting three-set regular-season victories against St. Anne and St. Serra highlighted their ability to rise to the occasion and find ways to win.

Heading into the playoffs, the girls continued their impressive run, defeating St. Edward's in two sets. Next, they faced St. Serra for the third time this season, rallying from a first-set loss to win in three sets. In the semifinals, they faced a familiar rival, St. Hedwig, who defeated the Tartans in last year's championship game. This year, the girls came out ready to play and earned a two-set victory to advance to the championship against St. John the Baptist. After finding a determined groove, St. Margaret's took control of the match and won in two sets to secure the championship title.

Congratulations to the undefeated league champions and playoff champions!  Their hard work, perseverance, selflessness, and commitment to one another paid off in the best possible way.
