Girls Flag Football Tops Laguna Beach 40-19

The Tartans sit atop the Pacific Hills League with the win.
St. Margaret's girls flag football program hung 40 points on Laguna Beach High School Monday in a 40-19 win that saw the Tartans claim the Pacific Hills League title with a 6-0 record.
 
Quarterback Ella Chin went 34 for 39, throwing for 407 yards and 6 touchdowns in the win. Aiyanna Brown was Chin's favorite target, hauling in 14 catches for 235 yards and 1 touchdown. Gia Fournier led the Tartans with 3 scores on 6 catches and 18 yards.
 
Defensively, Lola Berutich had 12 flag pulls and 3 interceptions to keep the Breakers off the scoreboard, while Ella Lancaster notched 11 flag pulls and 3 passes defended.
 
Congratulations to the Tartans on their first league championship in girls flag football!
