Girls flag football continues to dominate in league competition.
St. Margaret's girls flag football triumphed over Laguna Beach 32-6 on Monday, improving to 9-4 (4-0 league).

Quarterback Ella Chin went 23 for 35 for 263 yards and threw for 5 touchdowns as the Tartans were nearly unstoppable on offense. A raft of receivers hauled in touchdowns for St. Margaret's: Aiyanna Brown (97 rec, 96 yds, 2 td), Lola Berutich (9 rec, 119 yds, 1 td), Paige Tritt (1 rec, 26 yds, 1 td) and Zoe Lauderdale (4 rec, 20 yds, 1 td) all found the endzone for a score.

Defensively, Ella Lancaster led with 13 flag pulls, with Lola Berutich following with 10 flag pulls and 2 interceptions. Alexandria McCarthy added 2 interceptions and 3 flag pulls, while Paige Tritt and Aiyann Brown each had 3 pass defenses.

The Tartans will represent at the Huntington Beach Flag Football Tournament this weekend, followed by a league contest against Pacifica Christian OC on Sept. 30.
