Presenting St. Margaret’s Class of 2026! An Extraordinary Group of Scholars Heading to 59 Different Colleges and Universities

The 115 students will come together one final time to receive their diploma at the 41st Commencement Exercises on Saturday, then forge their own paths at 59 colleges and universities in 21 states. 
St. Margaret’s Episcopal School is proud to present the Class of 2026—an extraordinary class of scholars, student-athletes, artists, leaders and innovators who will graduate from St. Margaret’s ready for the world that awaits.  
 
The 115 students will come together one final time to receive their diploma at the 41st Commencement Exercises on Saturday, then forge their own paths at 59 colleges and universities in 21 states. That includes nine students who will play intercollegiate athletics, and 10 students who will pursue the arts in college.
  
A total of 40 seniors will attend colleges and universities in California, while 75 will attend school outside of California. College choices for the Class of 2026 include Bates College (2); Bucknell University; California Institute of Technology; Cornell University (3); Emory University; Johns Hopkins University; Princeton University; Southern Methodist University (3); University of California, Berkeley (3); University of California, Los Angeles (3); University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill; University of Notre Dame (2); University of Pennsylvania; Vanderbilt University (3); Washington University in St. Louis; and Wellesley College.
 
In all, 23 schools will enroll two or more Tartans, a list that include the University of Southern California (6), the University of San Diego (6), Chapman University (5), New York University (5), University of Chicago (4), Purdue University (4), Cal Poly-San Luis Obispo (4), Tufts University (4), University of Michigan (4), Indiana University, Bloomington (4).  
 
The Tartan road to college was a comprehensive process guided by St. Margaret’s dedicated college counseling team, which includes Director of College Counseling Amy Warren and Associate Directors of College Counseling Ben Lah, Erica Huerta and Seaby Rodriguez. With decades of collective experience, including experience as college admissions officers, St. Margaret’s College Counseling Office arranged worked closely with admission representatives from across the country and around the world, with more than 100 college representatives visiting St. Margaret’s to meet with Upper School students. The College Counseling team also had numerous one-on-one meetings with each senior, and an enhanced College Group Meeting curriculum their junior and senior years prepared the Class of 2026 for the college-admission journey that concludes with an impressive matriculation list that emphasizes the right fit for each student.
