The Upper School Performing Arts Awards ceremony brought together students, faculty, and families to recognize a year of achievement across the St. Margaret’s performing arts disciplines.
The Arts at St. Margaret’s hosted its annual Upper School Performing Arts Awards ceremony in Hurlbut Theater this week. The event brought together students, faculty, and families to recognize a year of achievement across the St. Margaret’s performing arts disciplines.

The ceremony honored more than 50 Upper School students for accomplishments spanning achievement, leadership, and artistic excellence during the 2025–2026 academic year. Awards were presented across Choir, Band, Orchestra, Technical Arts, Dance, Cinematic Arts, and Drama, reflecting the breadth of St. Margaret’s performing arts offerings.

In addition to onstage performance recognition, the evening highlighted student contributions behind the scenes, including directing, choreography, filmmaking, technical production, musicianship, and artistic leadership. Faculty presenters emphasized the role of collaboration and creative discipline in sustaining productions throughout the year.

Dan Pacheco, director of arts, described the event as a capstone celebration of student involvement in the arts community, acknowledging not only individual excellence but also mentorship, teamwork, and innovation that shaped performances and productions across the Upper School program.

Congratulations Tartans!
