The annual STEAM Expo returned to St. Margaret’s last weekend, transforming St. Margaret’s campus into a hub of creativity, discovery and hands-on learning for students and families across all grade levels.

The community event celebrated science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics through a wide range of interactive activities designed to inspire curiosity and collaboration. From Chalmers Field to the Lower School STEAM classrooms, students explored a dynamic STEAM playground filled with opportunities to experiment, build and discover.

Attendees interacted with live reptiles, examined specimens under microscopes, and tested the St. Margaret’s robotics team’s award-winning robot. Families also viewed Lower School science projects highlighting student learning and innovation from throughout the academic year.

Upper School students played a leading role throughout the morning, guiding many of the activities and mentoring younger students. Lower and Middle School students also showcased projects focused on topics including space exploration and environmental sustainability, giving visitors a firsthand look at the creativity and critical thinking taking place at St. Margaret’s.

Designed as both a celebration and showcase of student learning, the STEAM Expo continues to highlight St. Margaret’s commitment to innovation, inquiry and experiential education in a fun, family-friendly environment.

Attendees also enjoyed a complimentary lunch provided by Summer at St. Margaret’s, rounding out a memorable morning of exploration and community connection. Here are photos from another exciting STEAM Expo at St. Margaret’s!
