On to The Semifinals! Tartan Tennis Moves on With Win Against Valencia
St. Margaret's slipped past the Tigers to advance.
The Tartan boys tennis program picked up a big postseason win to advance to the CIF-SS Div. IV Semifinal.
St. Margaret's took down a talented Valencia High squad in a tightly contested quarterfinal. Ending in a 9-9 draw, the Tartans prevailed with an 82-72 total in games.
Dillan Grover won all of his singles sets, while Davin Grover won 2 out of 3 to set the Tartans up on the right foot. The doubles teams of Nison Cai / Stephen Gao and Alex Fluman / Kasra Haghi both picked up a set win to contribute crucial points to the Tartans' cause.
The Tartans will take on Westlake High at Westlake on May 13.
