Tartan Boys Volleyball Battles to 3-2 Victory to Extend Winning Streak

St. Margaret’s boys volleyball team’s winning streak reached 20 matches on Tuesday, as the Tartans notched a 3-2 victory against powerhouse Laguna Beach on Tuesday, rebounding from a 1-2 set deficit to rally for two strong set wins against the Breakers.
The Tartan attack was led by middles Becket Harvey (27 kills) and Miles Eaton (20 kills), while Ry O Hill contributed an additional 12 kills from the outside position.
St. Margaret's serving was solid with a team efficiency of 93% and a favorable ace-to-error ratio of 9-8. Botty O'Kane led with 3 aces and an efficiency of 92% with Harvey (2 aces, 96%) and Logan Cuda (1 ace, 100%) pacing the Tartans. O'Kane also delivered a team-high 20 digs while Eaton recorded 5 blocks.
The Tartans next take on Portola at home on Wednesday, April 15, at 5:15 pm.
