Tartan Community Kicks Off Holiday Season at PTF Tree Lighting Ceremony

St. Margaret’s holiday spirit shone brightly last weekend as the Tartan community gathered for the PTF Tree Lighting Ceremony in the Fountain Courtyard.
St. Margaret’s holiday spirit shone brightly last weekend as more than 200 members of the Tartan community gathered for the 18th annual PTF Tree Lighting Ceremony in the Fountain Courtyard.

The evening was filled with joy, festive treats, and holiday cheer. Families enjoyed cookies and hot chocolate while delighting in a special visit from Santa. Grade 5 student leadership helped students write letters to Santa and drop them in a special mailbox bound for the North Pole. The excitement peaked during the traditional countdown to light the Christmas tree, led by Head of School Dr. Jeneen Graham alongside a Lower School student.

The PTF extends heartfelt thanks to event chairs Francesca Brisbois and Tracey Robertson and all the volunteers who helped continue this cherished tradition.
