As an extension of the classroom, our athletic teams are committed to remaining at the forefront of innovation and progressive leadership so that our student-athletes may achieve at the highest possible level.
At St. Margaret’s, students are encouraged to explore their own interests in this vibrant, close-knit community, and Tartans seek opportunities for growth in athletics, the arts, service learning, leadership and more.
St. Margaret’s Community Leaves Its Signature on St. Margaret’s Commons Beam
This week students, faculty, and the professional community came together to sign the final beam of the new St. Margaret’s Commons.
This week students, faculty, and the professional community came together to sign the final beam of the new St. Margaret’s Commons before it is installed in the building. This special moment allows the school community to leave their mark on a project that will soon become the heart of St. Margaret’s campus.
Students, professional community and families all had a chance to sign the beam, with markers left out during the school day in addition to an opportunity for families to participate at last week’s PTF Tartan Family BBQ.
It has long been a tradition at St. Margaret’s for community members to leave their signature on new facilities while they are under construction. The Darcy Rice Center for the Arts, Maseeh Middle School and Pasternack Field House all have community signatures hidden within the site.
