St. Margaret’s PTF announced the 2023 spring grants at its General Membership Meeting this week, an extraordinary list of general grants, standing grants and a capital campaign gift.
St. Margaret’s Parent Teacher Fellowship announced the 2023 spring grants at its General Membership Meeting this week, an extraordinary list of general grants, standing grants and a capital campaign gift that total more than $750,000 this cycle.

The list of grants includes a $400,000 gift to the Student Commons project, completing the PTF’s multi-year pledge of $1 million three years ahead of schedule.

The PTF also made a $25,000 gift to the Annual Fund, and a $100,000 gift to the William N. Moseley Venture to Serve Endowment, which will provide ongoing financial support for future service projects done by St. Margaret’s and its students, alumni and professional community. The Moseley Venture to Serve was announced in March by the Board of Trustees in honor of Mr. Moseley’s 10 years of leadership at St. Margaret’s and his commitment to service learning.

“We know that building a culture of philanthropy is something that signifies our collective commitment to service and this school,” PTF President Jessica Klausner said. “The PTF shares in this commitment and we are pleased to express our partnership through these gifts.”

“We are so grateful for the PTF’s hard work in building community and demonstrating unconditional love for St. Margaret’s and our students,” Mr. Moseley said. “These gifts are an extraordinary show of support, and they will benefit Tartans and the community for years to come. I want to thank the PTF for all they do for St. Margaret’s, as well as the entire Tartan community for their dedication, love and generosity.”

The PTF also announced the spring cycle of general grants, requested by professional community members to fund resources and tools to enrich the learning of the entire student body.

Among the grants that were awarded this spring:

-The Early Childhood School will have a new community outdoor garden greenhouse, to enhance the garden curriculum for St. Margaret’s youngest learners.
- The Library will install two sound-proof study booths as an additional quiet space for student studying and working.
