Parenting in today’s world can be challenging as we are faced with balancing busy schedules and more importantly, adapting to the uniqueness of who each child is and who they are becoming. As parents it is difficult to truly empathize with the pressures and struggles which our students face. These pressures are markedly different from what we experienced and it is important to be aware of this. We must not only understand who they are, but also be conscious of our own strengths and weaknesses in the process. Consciously parenting allows us to help each unique child reach their full potential.
