Ryan Cragun and Lauren McCaffrey Named Small-School Athletes of the Year

Cragun and McCaffrey were recently honored by the Capistrano Dispatch as St. Margaret's Athletes of the Year.
Graduating seniors Ryan Cragun and Lauren McCaffrey were recently honored by the Capistrano Dispatch as St. Margaret's Athletes of the Year.

Ryan Cragun, Football

Cragun, a University of Pennsylvania football commit, led the Tartans in receiving with 1,586 yards and 20 touchdowns this past fall. Defensively, he notched five interceptions and 56 tackles while recording 420 kickoff and punt return yards and scored five non-offensive touchdowns. Cragun was the Academy League MVP and Division VII All-CIF in football.

Lauren McCaffrey, Soccer

McCaffrey, who will play soccer for the Northwestern University Wildcats in the fall, led Academy League Champions St. Margaret's in assists for the second year in a row. Third all-time at St. Margaret's with 42 goals and 48 assists, McCaffrey, a two-time Academy League MVP and First-Team All-CIF honoree, was also named as the Academy League Athlete of the Year.
