St. Margaret's Announces Hire of College and NFL Great Kory Minor

Former Notre Dame and Carolina Panthers linebacker Kory Minor will join the St. Margaret's football program and expand the student-athlete leadership program and NCAA recruiting process.
St. Margaret's is pleased to announce the appointment of Kory Minor as a member of the Tartan football staff for the 2017 season. Kory will also head up the Upper School's student-athlete leadership program and be involved with the college recruiting process.

Kory Minor, a linebacker for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, is first All-Time in tackles for loss (43.5) and second All-Time for sacks in a career (22.5) at Notre Dame. Kory was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in 1999 and was a linebacker and special teams standout for the Carolina Panthers in the NFL.

After football, Kory embarked on an entrepreneurial journey, ultimately leading to a successful restaurant franchise with Dominos Pizza in Southern California. Kory currently lends his expertise to businesses and organizations with one-on-one coaching, team training and motivational speaking.

“We are very fortunate to have someone of Kory’s caliber join the Athletic Department staff. His time at Notre Dame and in the NFL will prove to be a valuable resource as we expand our student-athlete leadership program and NCAA recruiting services. I am confident that his experience, contacts and knowledge will create additional opportunities for our student-athletes,” said St. Margaret's Director of Athletics Patrick Bendzick.
