Boys Soccer Brings Home Tournament Championship

The Tartans enjoyed a 22-3 goal differential en route to the Linfield Christian Tournament Championship.
St. Margaret's boys soccer team captured the Linfield Christian Soccer Tournament crown this past weekend, outscoring their opponents 22-3. The Tartans defeated Tri-City Christian 8-0, Aquinas High School 5-2, Saddleback Valley Christian 2-0 and Woodcrest Christian 7-1 to bring home the gold.

Midfielders RJ Egdorf (5 goals), Robbie Graham (3 goals) and John Leasure (2 Goals) as well as goalkeeper Gordon Larson were named players of the tournament.

Coach Adam Doty said, "The team was very excited to participate in this tournament for the first time. We have a squad that is very focused on teamwork, and it showed throughout the tournament. We possessed the ball very well and because of that, we were able to score goals. Winning the championship has set the standard for the season going forward, and the boys are eager to raise the bar every game."
