Scott McGowan, Class of 2013, and Brandon Suchand, Class of 2013, were both crowned national champions in lacrosse this past weekend. McGowan is a member of the National Champion NCAA Div. 1 Denver Pioneers and Suschand recorded 17 saves to lead the Grand Canyon University Antelopes to the MCLA National Championship.

Both Mcgowan and Suchand excelled in lacrosse at St. Margaret’s starting in the Middle School program and culminating in a U.S. Lacrosse Southern Section Championship their senior year. McGowan, a long pole midfielder, was named All-Orange County his sophomore, junior and senior years. Suchand, a goaltender/defenseman at St. Margaret’s was named All-Orange County as a defenseman in 2013.
