Tartan Surf Battles JSerra at Huntington Beach

St. Margaret's produced gritty performances in ideal conditions.
St. Margaret's surf program took on cross-town rival JSerra this past weekend and came away with impressive results.

The Tartans were stellar in individual competitions; Brendan Lyons placed third overall in the mens shortboard while Colton Ettwein showed his versatility by competing in three events—Shortboard, Longboard, and Bodyboard—finishing 6th in shortboard and 3rd in Bodyboard.

Chloe Eskander had an incredible day, taking home the top prize in both the womens shortboard and longboard events.

St. Margaret's looks to keep the momentum going in the Scholastic Surf Series as it returns to competition on November 14 at the San Clemente Pier.
