St. Margaret's Boys Lacrosse Drops Mater Dei 11-7

The Tartans conclude the regular season at 15-2 and Ranked No. 3 in CIF.
The Tartan boys lacrosse program finished the 2026 regular season with a convincing 11-7 win over hosts Mater Dei.
 
Ryan Kees had a night for the Tartans, scoring the first three goals for St. Margaret's and finishing with a game-high 6 points on 3 goals and 3 assists. Carson Barber joined his teammate with 3 goals and 2 assists on the night.
 
Andrew Toubin (2g, 1a), Ben Greek (1g), Jack Shea (1g) and defenseman Reese Angelos (1g) rounded out the scoring for the Tartans.
 
A smothering Tartan defense led by Angelos's 3 forced turnovers and 3 ground balls kept the pressure off netminder Jonas Gilden, who made 7 saves on the night.
 
St. Margaret's awaits the CIF-SS Postseason draw, which occurs on Friday, April 24 at 9 a.m.
