Tartans Torch Woodbridge 20-0

Boys lacrosse coasted in its penultimate league game.
The Tartan boys lacrosse team cruised to a 20-0 win over visiting Woodbridge High Wednesday afternoon on Tartan Field.
 
Andrew Toubin notched 3 goals and 4 assists while Carson Barber added 5 goals and an assist in the win. Ryan Kees contributed 3 goals and 2 assists to keep the Tartans undefeated in league play.
 
A raft of Tartans found the scoresheet, including: Carter Stanley (2g, 1a), Jack Shea (2g), Ben Greek (1g, 1a), Aston Frankfort (1g, 1a), Cob Sprague (1g, 1a), Jack Webber (1g) and Arya Saidi (1g).
 
Defensively, Declan Kelly (5 gb), Graham Holcomb (4 gb) and Reese Angelos (3 gb) shut down the Warriors all afternoon. Goaltenders Jonas Gilden, George Knapp and Keagan Pichardo combined for the shutout.
 
Faceoff specialist Carter Mai went 11 out of 16 to keep St. Margaret's in control all game.
 
The Tartans (13-1) will face The Bishop's School of San Diego on Saturday, April 18, and wrap up league play against Irvine on Monday, April 20, both at home.
