St. Margaret's Swamps Sea Kings 12-5

Boys lacrosse took on Corona del Mar Tuesday evening.
Tartan boys lacrosse defeated Corona del Mar 12-5 on Tartan Field in a non-league tilt Tuesday evening.
 
The win avenges a 2025 loss against the Sea Kings and puts the Tartans at 9-1 on the season. St. Margaret's was led by Carson Barber's 6 points on 4 goals and 2 assists, with Andrew Toubin following closely behind with 5 points (2 g, 3a). Jack Shea paced the Tartans with 4 goals while Ryan Kees contributed 1 goal and an assist. Ben Greek added a goal in the win.
 
Goaltender Jonas Gilden made 8 saves behind the defensive play of Declan Kelly (2 gb), Reese Angelos (1gb, 1 fto) and Aidan Grumet (2 gb) that kept the Sea Kings scoreless until the 2nd quarter.
 
The Tartans are set to embark on a Northern California swing where they will face Cardinal Newman (4/8) and Sacred Heart Prep (4/10).
