Tartans Surge Past Sage Hill in 3-2 Win

St. Margaret's boys volleyball notches crucial league win.
The Tartan boys volleyball program downed Sage Hill School 3-2 in an important league battle Tuesday evening. The win marks the Tartans' second five-set win in a row.

St. Margaret's faced a previously unbeaten Lightning squad in front of an energized Sage Hill home crowd in Newport Coast. The Tartan middle blockers again led the charge, with Beckett Harvey collecting 11 kills on the night. Miles Eaton added 9 kills while orchestrating the Tartan defense, which affected Sage Hill's attack.

Botty O'Kane hit very efficiently, 8 kills, 1 error with a .318 average, and added some critical defensive plays. Ry O Hill added 9 kills on the outside.

The Tartans will next take on league opponent Laguna Beach on the road on Friday, March 13.
