Middle School Boys Lacrosse Wins Third Consecutive PAL Title

The Tartans battled St. Serra to a 17-12 win for the cup.
St. Margaret's Middle School boys lacrosse A1 team brought home its third consecutive Parochial Athletic League title Wednesday, defeating St. Serra Catholic School 17-12 in a thrilling end-to-end contest on Tartan Field.

The Tartans relied on speedy transition play and a gritty determination all year, keeping a three-season undefeated streak alive. The championship win and perfect season are a testament to the team's hard work and strong lacrosse culture at St. Margaret's. Success was spread across the middle school boys lacrosse program, where a large number of participants necessitated four teams with talent ranging from seasoned veterans to athletes trying the sport for the very first time.

With over 60 athletes participating in the boys middle school program, the future looks bright for the Tartans.

"It was great to see the team wrap up the season with a championship, their third in a row," said head coach Brian Kelly. "I'm really proud of the boys and enjoy watching a new group come in each year, carrying on the tradition of excellence in the lacrosse program here at St. Margaret's."
