Wohlgemuth Reaches Milestones as Tartan Girls Basketball Downs Temecula Valley 59-41
Lila Wohlgemuth joins Taylor Francois in reaching 1,000 career points.
St. Margaret's girls basketball defeated Temecula Valley High School 59-41 Thursday night to improve to 4-2 on the year.
Lila Wohlgemuth had an evening, notching 20 points, five 3-pointers, four steals and six deflections in the win. The performance put Wohlgemuth above 1,000 points and 200 3-pointers made in her high school basketball career. The milestones mark her as the 7th player in St. Margaret's history to reach 1,000 points and the 2nd to reach 200 3-pointers.
Wohlgemuth joins Taylor Francois in the annals of Tartan history as Francois netted 1,000 career points on November 17 against Aliso Niguel. Francois tallied 16 points, 8 assists and 6 rebounds in the win against Temecula Valley. Jayden Witten (19 pts, 6 reb) and Addie West (9 ast) supported the Tartans all evening.
St. Margaret's next faces 1-2 Godinez tonight and 3-2 Jordan on Saturday before moving on to the Mariner Mayhem Tournament next week.
