Forever Plaid: A Life of Adventure Brings School Community Together for Memorable Evening

More than 400 parents, professional community members, Trustees, alumni and supporters of St. Margaret’s attended and enjoyed a night of dinner, dancing, fun and fellowship.
St. Margaret’s school community came together to support the school and its bright future at the PTF’s annual all-school fundraiser Forever Plaid: A Life of Adventure, which took place last weekend at the Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach.

More than 400 parents, professional community members, Trustees, alumni and supporters of St. Margaret’s attended and enjoyed a night of dinner, dancing, fun and fellowship. Silent and live auctions took place, as well as a special Fund A Need, Pathway to Adventure, in which supporters could purchase commemorative bricks to be featured outside of the new St. Margaret’s Commons opening next summer.

“The PTF did an amazing job bringing our school community together for a memorable night. We are so grateful for their partnership and their support of our shared future at St. Margaret’s,” Head of School Dr. Jeneen Graham said. “Every part of the evening was extraordinary. Thank you to the PTF, including president Kari De Vries, Forever Plaid committee chair Bethanie Moriarty and the many volunteers who created this extraordinary event. And thank you to all the participants and attendees who showed their support for St. Margaret’s. We are so grateful.”

The theme of “A Life of Adventure” was evident all around as attendees enjoyed live entertainment, played games and enjoyed a beautifully decorated event space featuring butterflies, hot air balloons and so much more.

“The evening was so extraordinary. Thank you to Bethanie Moriarty and the rest of the Committee for bringing this vision to life through creativity, collaboration and hard work,” PTF President Kari De Vries said. “We are thankful to share these moments together in support of this wonderful school.”

The PTF would also like to thank all of the generous supporters of Forever Plaid, including families, friends and corporate sponsors.

Tartans, you can still support the Pathway to Adventure initiative and leave your mark on the pathway outside of the St. Margaret’s Commons. Click here to learn more, or reach out to Beth Adamany in the PTF Office at ext. 1351.
