Alyson Fullbright Appointed as St. Margaret's Girls Beach Volleyball Head Coach

The Tartan beach volleyball season kicks off in February.
St. Margaret's is proud to announce the appointment of Alyson Fullbright as head coach of the Tartans girls beach volleyball program.

Fullbright most recently was a head coach of the Prime Volleyball Club in Laguna Niguel and previously coached at Sand City Volleyball in Monterey, CA, as a beach and indoor coach.

“It’s such an honor to be part of the St. Margaret’s family!" said coach Fullbright. "I can’t wait to continue building on this incredible program and help our student-athletes thrive on and off the sand.”

Fullbright's collegiate playing experience spanned careers at California State University, Monterey Bay and Concordia University, Irvine. Fullbright earned American Volleyball Coaches Association All-Academic Team honors from 2020 to 2023.

Fullbright holds a B.S. in Kinesiology with a minor in Psychology from CSUMB and a Master's in Coaching and Exercise Sciences from Concordia. She is expected to earn her Master's in Clinical Psychology from Vanguard University in May.

“We are excited to welcome Coach Fullbright to the athletic department here at St. Margaret's. With a strong background in both indoor and beach volleyball—as a player and a coach—she is dedicated to developing young athletes. At the same time, her deep understanding of the game makes her an excellent fit for our program as we continue to build excellence in girls beach volleyball," said St. Margaret's Director of Athletics Dan O'Shea. "In addition, Alyson has proven that her education experience in psychology and exercise science gives her a unique skillset to create an unparalleled team culture for our ever-growing program.”
